In Agios Gordios the Beach is Fine and the Wine is Divine!

Agios Gordios Beach is a popular destination for tourists looking for a bit of everything. Located on the western coast of Corfu, the beach is known for its crystal-clear waters and golden sand. The beach is quite wide and spacious, with plenty of room for sunbathers and swimmers alike.

If you're feeling adventurous, take a hike up the nearby hill to get a bird's eye view of the beach and the surrounding area. The view is absolutely stunning and worth the effort. Or if you're feeling lazy, just relax and enjoy the sun and surf.

The beach is lined with a variety of restaurants and bars where you can grab a bite to eat or a drink. If you're looking for something more local, head over to Agios Gordios village, which is just a short walk away. The village has a variety of shops, tavernas, and cafes, and is a great place to experience the local culture and food.

If you're lucky, you might even catch a local festival or celebration in the village square. And don't forget to sample some of the local wine and olive oil - they're some of the best on the island.

Do's and Don'ts That Will Keep You in the Good Books of the Greek Gods!

Ah, Corfu in the summer - it's truly a magical experience that's hard to put into words. The island is alive with the sounds of laughter, music, and the lapping waves of the Ionian Sea. The air is warm and the sun is shining, making it the perfect destination for a summer holiday. There's something for everyone on this enchanting island. For the sun worshippers, there are plenty of beautiful beaches to choose from, each with its own unique charm. From the secluded coves of Porto Timoni to the lively party scene at Kavos, there's a beach for every mood.
DO rent a sunbed and umbrella to relax on the beach.
DO try some local Greek cuisine, like souvlaki or moussaka, at one of the beachfront restaurants.
DO take a walk up to the village and explore the narrow streets and shops.
DO try some of the locally-produced wine, like the famous Corfu white wine, at a local taverna.
DO take a boat tour to explore the nearby caves and hidden beaches.
DON'T forget to wear sunscreen! The sun in Corfu can be quite strong.
DON'T litter on the beach or in the village. Help keep Agios Gordios clean and beautiful.
DON'T be afraid to try something new, like a different type of seafood or a local drink.
DON'T be rude to the locals or other tourists. Remember to be respectful and kind to everyone you encounter.
DON'T forget to bring cash, as not all establishments may accept credit cards.
